Q.  Why are you starting afterword?

A.  Why not? No seriously, why not? Our goal is to engage others in conversation with theatre as the starting point. So why limit ourselves to just the plays we produce? afterword is an experiment in expanding our own boundaries as well as yours.

Q. Who is this program for?

​

A. afterword is for individuals (18+) with all levels of play reading experience from none to “just some Shakespeare back in high school” to expert (we’re looking at you Jacob Yeh)

Q. Is there an overall theme?

​

A. Yes! The theme for the first three months is: "That’s Hystorical! - Comedy Through the Ages" and each monthly pairing of scripts, despite being from different time periods, all approach their topic through the lens of comedy.

​Q. Why two plays each month?

​

A. Similar to the experience of sampling food and wine pairings, having two plays will allow us to compare and contrast. The time span between when the plays were written will further offer us the opportunity to discuss cultural contexts and contemporary issues.

Q. What is the registration fee?

​

A. There is no cost to participate. We are capping the conversation experiences at sixteen participants each, so if your plans change please let us know.
